Speed
We left the shapes of the Speed 45 and 54 unchanged as our test team only had the following to say about them: "The current boards are so good that it would be unrealistic to improve those boards again. None of the new prototypes were better overall and we don't see anything available on the market which is even close to them!"
The Speed 50 comes in an all-new shape done by Werner Gnigler.
Jacques van der Hout holds the GPS Nautical Mile World Record, Dutch National WGPSSRC 10 Seconds Record. He was one of the main testers and said the following about the new board:
"No doubt the JP Speed 50 #3 was our favorite board, this is really the benchmark for the years to come and this board can go directly in production.
It also works perfectly with the latest speed fins which are really short but rather wide at the base.
Most boards need to be lifted by a fin, this board doesn't. Just put a small, wide base fin under it and you accelerate quickly, will have good control and unbelievable top end speed. No negative comments on this board, just perfect in all ways. Super loose on the water, early planing, rocket like accelerating, unreal speed and also jibing is surprisingly easy for a speed board. Because of the new Race Deck the comfort is unbeatable and unmatched.
Can I buy Werner's prototype? - I don't want to wait for the first boards coming out of the mold - I need it now."

JP FORMULA 100
After dominating the PWA 2009 Slalom season with Antoine Albeau F192 crowning himself Slalom World Champion by winning 6 out of 7 races and Micah Buzianis coming 4th JP makes the next logical step and introduces a Formula board.
The board has been developed between Mike Zajicek from California who has many years of experience in shaping and riding Formula boards, Werner Gnigler, Micah Buzianis US 34 and Antoine Albeau FRA 192.
Antoine, Micah, Sebastian Kornum (2008 IFCA Junior Slalom World Champion), Enes Yilmazer TUR 2 (2009 IFCA Slalom Youth World Champion), Markus Poeltenstein AUT30 (2009 IFCA Slalom Master World Champion), Bernd Flessner G 16 (14 times German Windsurf Champion, 2009 IFCA Slalom World Champion) and many more will make sure that JP will be in front also in Formula competitions in future.
The board has been tested with sails from 9,5 - 12,0 and has shown great performance in all those conditions.
SHAPE
The shape comes from continuous R&D since the inception of Formula itself. The final design is a result of testing and input from racers all over the world. The shape utilizes a forgiving entry forward and pronounced Vee integrated with a proven rocker. That combined with aggressive tail and rail selections affords very early planing and low wind gliding - necessities for the highest level of FW racing. The mast position on the board can be further back without sacrificing control, which benefits bigger sails and
fins in lighter air.

The dominance of JP in the PWA Slalom Tour is pretty stunning:
Antoine Albeau FRA 192 has again won the title already before the final tour stop in Sylt.
After winning Turkey Micah Buzianis USA 34 finally finished in 4th overall for the year.
